MetalLink Expands Distribution Network Across Central Asia

MetalLink Expands Distribution Network Across Central Asia

A Strategic Step Eastward

MetalLink is proud to announce a significant expansion of its distribution network across Central Asia. Following sustained demand from the region's rapidly growing construction, energy, and infrastructure sectors, we have formalised partnerships with established distributors in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan — three of the region's most dynamic steel-consuming markets.

This expansion represents MetalLink's commitment to shortening the distance between European mill sources and fast-moving project sites across the Eurasian landmass.

What This Means for Customers

  • Lead time reductions of up to 40% — regional stock means faster response for urgent project requirements
  • Local technical support — in-country representatives able to assist with product selection and documentation
  • Consistent quality — all stock sourced directly from MetalLink's approved European mill network, with full mill certificates
  • Broader product availability — seamless pipes, structural profiles, and steel plates held in regional warehouses

Regional Warehouse Investment

As part of this expansion, MetalLink has invested in dedicated bonded warehousing facilities in Almaty and Tashkent. These hubs will carry buffer stock of our most demanded product lines — carbon and alloy seamless pipes, IPE and HEA/HEB beams, and hot rolled plates — ensuring availability for immediate call-off.

We look forward to welcoming new customers in the region and supporting the infrastructure ambitions that are reshaping Central Asia.
